Barack Obama doesn't have a problem attracting white working-class voters, I think he's more than proved that. He has a problem with redneck racist whites, and needn't worry about them, they'll vote Republican come November anyway.

Actually, you will be back in the real world when Obama gets crushed by McCain in Montana. Obama has the primary in a near lock, so why get so excited about a primary poll in a Red state.

I support Hillary Clinton

I'm not surprise a poll showed Obama leading in Montana or South Dakota because he seems to do well in those areas, including caucus if thats what they are having. Although I wouldnt be surprise if Hillary Clinton was ahead in Montana polls either.

Woot Hillary

Yep..not a problem at all for Obama. Just write off the south, most of the midwest and Texas. As long as he pulls in the West coast and the Northeast, that's all it takes, right? Gimme a break.........

Obama will pull in the Northeast, west coast, Illinois, Wisconsin, New Mexico, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Virgina, Iowa, Colorado and Nevada. Possible North carolina. More than enough for him to win.

McCain lost the primary in Montana didn't he? The conservatives in Montana would rather stay home than vote for Juan MacAmnesty.

Ok..state by state, here we go..... Obama gets the west coast, Illinois, the northeast (except NH), Iowa, Minnesota, Colorado and PA. Ohio and Wisconsin..close, but they go to McCain. Missouri? You got to be kidding or smoking from the Obama-Bong. North Carolina and Virginia..a pipe dream that you Obamaites perpetuate to no end.

Sorry but primary results are not always an indicator of the General Election. McCain easily over Obama in Montana (14-15%)

So what can he do? Well, I think he needs to go there and tell them about his humble upbringing, about his grandmother in Kansas, remind them how he pulled himself up by the bootstraps, how he helped people such as them while in the Illinois legislature and now as a Senator. Also he can talk about how he'll use the White Hosue to champion issues that will provide for the future all parents want for their kids. Use his own kids as an example of what he wants for them-99% of parents, black or white, rich or poor, want the same thing for their kids.

.
He started today in his commemoration speech as pinch-hitter for Ted Kenney at Wesleyan College.

You are dreaming if you think the big industrial midwest states will go for McCain. Wisconsin and Ohio to Obama and by at least 7 points. Missouri to Obama by 3 points. North Carolina and Virgina- close but both possibilities.
