Extreme Right wing Trump supporting nutcase Levy has ZERO shot of getting elected in CT. Clarides would have been the more formidable Republican candidate for the general election.

Connecticut is perfectly OK with Richard Blumenthal ( he of stolen valor fame) as long as he has a D beside his name.

The question was intended for the OP, who didn't respond, but wants diversity for a Senate seat in state he doesn't live in, but in his own state, he has has a Senate race where he can vote for a black woman candidate.

Anyways, what does Gillum have to do with Demings, other than both of them being black Democrats?

As for Demings, she led the Orlando Police Department and wouldn't be anti Police or Defund the Police. She would have been a better VP pick for Biden than Kamala Harris. She will probably lose to Marco Rubio though in the FL Senate race.

Doesn't CT need some diversity? How about a woman instead of a rich old uninspiring White guy?

There's a Republican woman named Levy that is being attacked by CT Libs, like a swarm of hornets.

Why not listen to her policy positions, and give her a chance? How about some EEOC CT voters?

Why is CT so anti-female? I thought that was bad.

The state has been trailing the national average for population growth for years, and their pension funding is a train wreck.

Why not try a new direction, and embrace diversity?

Diversity just for the sake of diversity is not a good thing. Why would it be?

That said, I'm all for term limits in Congress. But it's not going to happen because Congress makes the laws.
