Trump has reaped what he has sown. Nothing more or less.

He is under criminal investigation in Georgia.

The Trump crime family is a walking crime spree. No matter how much you spin it.
https://www.findlaw.com/criminal/cri...ivil-case.html

The fact is it is easier to prove guilt in a civil trial—one reason OJ was found guilty in the civil trial for killing Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman

All the taking the 5th responses that Trump and his children did in testimony about his fraud case in NY state can be held against him in a civil case—and they will…

A civil case won’t send someone judged guilty to prison but it can bankrupt them with damages, destroy their reputations, and cause legal repercussions that follow them the rest of their lives
Unfortunately being found guilty in a civil case would not prevent Trump from running for office in and of itself—
MOST settlements in civil cases allow the sued party/ies the ability to settle w/o pleading guilty
That is what happened with Trump and his father when sued for discrimination by the Fed early in his career—they paid the largest fine yet assessed but were able to escape pleading guilty

I think James’s very public and itemized reveal of Trump’s business practices and that she has sent the evidence to the DoJ is a strong push to make this a criminal charge
But DoJ has plenty to do with Jan 6 and MarALago
I don’t know that it could justify another criminal investigation of Trump at this time
Too bad really because with Weisselberg being a witness this seems to be an easier case to prosecute despite the mound of physical evidence to plow through in a trial

The right spent 8 years slandering and hating Obama. Starting with the birther movement in which Trump was involved. They use all kinds of racist tropes against him.

Called him a Muslim/Kenyan illegitimate and slandered his wife calling her a man named Michael. Saying Obama was gonna implement sharia law. Take away all their guns and the list goes on and on.

I feel no sympathy for the right when it comes to Trump he deserves all the criticism/repercussions of his actions.

Even here over half are extreme hatrid for Trump. Obviously they want high energy prices and inflation and the destruction of the United States.

I remember all of the above things you mentioned.

And Obama was actually a Centrist.

He supported:

Big Industry/Big Business
Wall St.
the Wall Street Banks
Military Industrial Complex.

Some policy differences from his predecessor, certainly but Obama was just another President - a continuation of many before.

(And of course we have a House and Senate)

If Trump does indeed run again he is NOT electable IMO, having lost a huge percentage of the female vote in 2020 and he'll lose more than that now.

DJT has already lost the Independents.

He's not electable.

This means....*face palm* maybe even someone like Gavin Newsom as potus.

DJT is done as dinner....and I think most Americans know it.

Does Donald know this? Who knows.

So just because he has some accomplishments he should be immune from criticism and treated like a king? That might fly in Russia or China but not in the USA.

I do not think he should run again. If he was the nominee we have no choice but to get behind him because the Dems are intent on destroying this country and Trump would stop them.

My fear is that IF Trump won the election the Democrats having already thrown everything they have against him and they are so caught up in their own lies that they have become desperate and desperate people do desperate deeds and it would be terrible for Melania to become a Widow.

Yes I think the Democrats would become that unhinged if Trump won again.

It feels like the Democrats actually want a Civil War and assassinating a popular President could give them what they want.

The country didn't fall apart during Trumps four years in office. His biggest crime was he moved the USSC 6-3 to the right.

Now... will the Dem leadership become unhinged if Trumps runs again and wins? No.

Mitch McConnell along with others within the Rep. establishment hate Trump and the Dem leadership knows this. The Dem leadership also dreams of a return to the pre-Trump era. It wasn't Trump who gave Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer nightmares. It was those within their own party who rocked their boat. Yet, there's no turning back. .

In any event we'll know after Nov. if Trump is running. Outside of liberal bastions around the country I suspect there won't be much unrest should he run/win in 2024.. Why not? A Trump win won't come as a surprise. The Left may not like it (and heaven help anyone seen wearing a MAGA cap in cities like San Francisco) but life will go on.

The Rep. win big in Nov. esp MAGA candidates Trump's in. And he will have an excellent chance of beating Biden or Harris.

If the Rep. party doesn't do well.. he's out. Next up DeSantis.

Trump sees the investigations going "perilously fast" according to his lawyers. He will be in court before long and hopefully in a jumpsuit. He might "think" himself innocent but that won't work. His house of cards is coming down, even for his kids, and it is all his doing.
Get some popcorn.

Lay off the sauce if you think a former President or his children will be indicted ever. This is how much the Democrat party has played you.

I think he will be going down......for real this time.

And there is still the possibility of the indictment for the Georgia AG call.

But this NY thing.....very serious....His former lawyer Cohen is giving interviews on this and I am believing his points.

He has a book coming in October....sheesh.....how many have we had now.

DJT has put out too much bad karma over the last 30+ years.....and his adult children will also be in this.

Popcorn ready.....it may be fun.
