CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time Blog Archive - Pelosi prepared to ’step in’ to end race « - Blogs from CNN.com

Hillary is really making herself look like a fool and is tearing apart the democratic party. It reveals the immaturaty level of Hillary Clinton. This foolishness needs to end after next week's primaries.

Oh ho HO! An interesting announcement, indeed.

I don't doubt that it's true, but wondering why she decided to announce it. Wondering if she's angling for something?

And.... how convenient that this announcement comes from a woman. Now Bill can't put on his sad-puppy-face and whimper about sexism.

The Clintons are all about themselves. Always have been, always will be. No one else matters, and screw the consequences. If Hillary had a shred of decency, she would have stepped aside a long time ago.

A close Hillary insider even said that her campaign believes Hillary comes first before the party.

It would be great if Pelosi would do this. Then we could blame all the hubris on her.

Yes, I see your point. She would take all the heat. The plan just might be for her to "take one for the team" as the way to rebuild party unity.

Good call!

Good for Nancy and not good for Hillary. Think about it if Obama selects a woman other then Hillary for VP will she exceed Hillary in status and power?

In fact, this might explain the announcement.

It's a brilliant plan. They want to make sure Pelosi shoulders the blame so they're announcing it ahead of time... just to ensure the plan goes as intended. And Nancy Pelosi can handle herself very well in a situation like this.
