4-5 points in a poll doesn't mean anything polls have been wrong since 2016.
By "wrong" they've always underestimated Trump's support and I suspect that's still the case. Considering Trump's current lead in the polls, the fact that he underperforms his polls and the EC advantage Republicans always have, it's now almost certain that Trump will have a landslide EC victory the likes of which we haven't seen in over two decades.
First to the post needs 270 electors to win.
There are 538 electors. Divide that in half, and without any write-ins or 3rd party votes, there are 269 electors on each side.
Since the nation is so firmly divided and split so closely, I'm sure either Trump or Biden could be first to the post, and either could ultimately have 271 or 272 to the other's 268 or 269 electors.
Whatever... this one is going to be much closer than 2020. No landslide for either party. That's how I see it.
One conviction and you can say good night Irene. He still hasn’t been able to bring in the Nikki Haley voters. He doesn’t have the support of other republican presidents or vice presidents including his own former VP. I really have a hard time seeing how he can get enough votes to win.

RFKjr.
Trump doesn't need Dem voters to vote for him. He simply needs them to vote for an alternative to Biden.
Quote:
RFK Jr.’s VP pick is a missile aimed at Biden
A candidate born with perhaps the most famous name in Democratic history has chosen a running mate with a gold-plated Democratic donor history. Amazingly, according to the Times, as recently as one month ago, Kennedy had only spoken to Shanahan once. Perhaps that’s all the vetting Kennedy needed to choose someone to help him siphon off Democratic votes.
Common sense tells you RFK Jr. is likely to draw more votes from Biden than Trump. The name alone is a giveaway. Kennedy’s name couldn’t be more blue if it were Democrat McDonkeyface.

...But you don’t need decades of experience and reams of data to see who RFK Jr’s bid hurts. All you need is a clear head, a command of history and a pair of functioning eyes. https://www.cnn.com/2024/03/26/opini...ala/index.html
It would take 3/4's of the country erasing their minds concerning Trump's history. But hell would freeze over before any of that. So we're on course for a repeat of 2020. Deju vu time coming up in November, kiddies.

Don’t think so.
Take MI for example: Trump is up by 3.5 (2-way race) yet...
If Trump wins, he will be assassinated. It’s the only option left to them.
