Still completely undecided. Either could get my vote at this point.

"I won't vote third party because it'll mess up the election", but "There won't be a third party for 20 years". One manifests the other. With millions thinking like this, it looks like we'll have a choice between Evil #1 and Evil #2 for decades to come. To second your closing remarks, the ballot might as well be empty because the choice is pure fiction anyway.
Well wait for the perfect candidate to come. They will one day. It wont be Nadar or Barr that do it, thats for sure. You will see, if we ever add a 3rd party, it will be done in one election season because it is the person you are voting for, and it would take the media to get behind them. But today, in this election, it is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN. I am sorry, but it isn't. I would consider it one day if they were a serious contender, but the fact is, in this election, they ARE NOT, just like the last election season.

I have one serious problem...and to me it truly is very serious. Although I admire the heroism of McCain's service to out country, there is not an issue on which I agree with him, except one. And that is the problem. Although I am a liberal at heart and agree with most of Obama's stands on the issues, there is one issue that is against my deepest beliefs. I am pro life. At the deepest part of my mind and heart I truly believe life is sacred. So how can I vote for someone who even support late term and partial birth abortion? On the other hand, I am pro life. So how can I support someone who would continue a needless war that is killing thousands of people? I honestly do not know what to do and it is tearing me up.

Look, I dont agree with the war, but abortion in my opinion is far worse than the war and the lives lost because of it. The war was a response to an attack on our nation. Abortion is the taking of a human life for no reason. The baby in the mother has no choice on the matter, and is a helpless victim when it is killed. In war, people make a conscious decision to risk their lives in a dangerous place. There is your biggest difference between lives lost in a war and lives lost to abortion. Are either right? No. Is one life more important than the other? No. But their really is a difference. I don't see how a pro-lifer could vote for a Democrat, especially if they are passionate about the issue. But then again, I dont see how anyone could vote for a democrat, so there you go. Just my two cents.

You've already conceded that there won't be a third party candidate when you are in a perfect position to determine that yourself, right now. You are waiting for someone else to push someone in front of you just like the two parties already do. You disempower yourself when you express that you're waiting for a serious contender without considering perhaps that your support is exactly what would make someone a serious contender.

Americans give up their power so easily!

No, the people who voted for Nader instead of Gore in 2000 gave up their power by giving the election to Bush.

No, completely wrong and wholly illogical. You clearly have no take on the power of the vote or the duty of voting. What is it with the people of Orange County?

What?? Look I dont want to be disrespectful, but how can that possibly be? Seriously, I am very far from a McCain apologist, but even with McCain's history with conservatives and their policies, Obama is about as rock solid of a liberal as you can get. Please enlighten me if you can!
