Ok, so I have watched this scenario probably fifty times over fifty different issues.

John McCain presents a policy, a distinct plan for what he plans while he is president.

Then, a couple hours later, Barack Obama just comes on, holds a press conference with a bunch of brainwashed idiots in the crowd, and says "that idea sounds like a Bush Third term" and "we want change."

The man NEVER presents any plans or ideas or any ways to implement those ideas, he just holds these silly pep rallies to critique John McCain's ideas. It is sickening that half the country falls for his horse crap because it is clear, if you listen to him, that he presents NO substance.

At least John McCain presents well thought ideas, and explains what he will do. Obama NEVER does that, he just attacks other instead of talking about policy. That is why it is so hard for McCain to attack Obama about his policy, BECAUSE HE HAS NO FREAKING IDEAS OF HIS OWN. So McCain is always attacked because he is actually presenting ideas while Obama is never attacked because he has no ideas to attack.

How many of you see this as well?

No response necessary from the Obama cheerleaders.

Unfortunately it is fooling a lot of Americans.
People need to realize that even if the economy was still pre democrat take over in congress and the Iraq war was flawless their would be a change sentiment. The liberals were stunned when Bush was elected once then twice. They got used to having Clinton in the white house.

But, that is probably his most effective way to run for office.

When you look at the combination of Bush's popularity, the lack of support for Iraq, the resentment of his tax program and the current concerns with the economy (especially fuel cost) you have to admit that linking the candidate to these issues really minimizes your need to make counterproposals.

Obama does not have any ideas of his own, he is always criticizing other peoples ideas without offering any alternative. He used to copy a lot of Hillary policies all the time. I don't have any confidence in this guy.

Obama is a master politician. He knows that 90% of getting elected is in the rhetoric. Just like Churchill & Lincoln learned to master the english language, so Obama has mastered the art of getting elected. That said, one has to tip their hat to him as he's very good about it. Very good indeed. It'll take him to the presidency.

at this point until either candidate really gets down to the nitty gritty and starts discussing the issues, they're both spinning their wheels. Obama has presented ideas such as the tax breakdown and making college more affordable, and they've both done a bit of back paddling. Shocker, its two politicans running for president both giving a bit of lip service.

Oh and just to clear up any rhetorical "BUT I THOUGHT OBAMA WAS ALL ABOUT CHANGE YOU DRINK THE KOOL AID LMAO" posts....I take a portion of Obamas speeches at face value, but when it comes down to it I really like his "Im not John McCain" policy.

Obama clearly addresses the issue as the issue is Bush. All he has to do is say "I'm going to be different than Bush" and it is enough for most Americans. If practically 70 percent of the country disapproves of the job he is doing, what does Obama really need to say besides "I won't be anything like Bush". And since he's a Democrat, it's believable. McCain being a Republican will try to say he won't be anything like Bush yet his voting record says otherwise. And keep in mind, Obama voted against the war. McCain says "let's stay in for 100 years if we have to." We are staring a Reagan/Carter type slaughter right in the face.

Which has many pundits and politicians stumped (especially the dems/libs) why it is a virtual dead-heat. By all accounts, this should be an easy dem win.

I've said it before; In retrospect, the GOP nominated the only candidate who can beat Obama or Hill&Bill.

No, he didn't. He was not in the Senate at the time.
