I'm reading from many here that his breaking of his earlier personal financing pledge was a good idea so it begs several questions;
- Now that McCain is going to follow the federal financing system, was Obama's original pledge to follow the federal public financing system if his opponent did a good idea?
- Was it a smart move to pledge this during the democratic primary and then unpledge or should he have told the truth all along?
- Do most voters care if a candidate pledges to do one thing and then changes if it's beneficial to do another? Is this the politics of change and hope that we're all excited about?
