Effectively, with this announcement: ABC News: Obama: The $500 Million Dollar Man?

The man has effectively gone back on his word, and is hoping the short term backlash is temporary, because it sets his campaign up for the final two months of the election with unprecedented funding.

If you are a conservative, as I am, at this point, you can only hope for Jimmy Carter part deux.

Don't count the voters out just yet. He outspent hill&Bill in key primaries by 3-1 in some states and he still lost.

Another thing; Don't let the liberal media get to you - which is their goal. To try and demoralize and deflate the electorate on the right.

No matter how much money he spends or how the slobbering media fawns all over him - he has a major handicap.

The question is; Will the electorate vote in a black man? A black man with radical anti-white, anti-american associates.

Sorry to say but race will be an issue in this campaign.

Yeah, there's a long time before the election. Anything can happen. Obama could make a huge gaffe that the public doesn't ignore. McCain could die in a plane crash. Bush could suspend the elections. It ain't over til Jan 20, 2009.

By no stretch is this over or at all predictable. They are to close in the polls and there are to many variables and opportunities for each to score and lose points. Let me ask you this question. If there is a major domestic terrorist attack who gets elected?

I hear it favors McCain big time.
