A new ABC News poll shows something that some suspected and most of us already knew:
Quote:
Three in 10 whites express less racially sensitive views, such as having some feelings of prejudice or believing that blacks in their communities do not experience discrimination; they hold generally critical views of Obama and favor John McCain for president by a 26-point margin.
Vote choice by racial sensitivity among whites:
Low
McCain-58%
Obama-32%
Medium
McCain-54%
Obama-36%
High
McCain-36%
Obama-55%
In other words, the less sensitive one is to racial issues, even admittedly prejudiced, the more inclined that person is to vote for McCain. What a surprise.

Funny how you failed to mention the very first sentence in the story
Racial attitudes among white Americans show little if any net effect on Barack Obama's candidacy for president, an ABC News analysis finds, because negative views toward Obama among the least racially sensitive whites largely are balanced by pro-Obama sentiment among those with the highest racial sensitivities.
Did they show the number of Blacks who are taking race into consideration?
yes they did, the OP posted it but failed to understand the value in it.
High
McCain-36% Obama-55%
Anotherwords, those who consider race highly important will vote 36% for McCain, and 55% for Obama.. meaning that the OP "Prejudice support of McCain" is mis-titled, its really "Prejudice support of Obama"
55% Obama is > 36% McCain for those who failed math.
IMPACT – As noted, an index based on these views finds that a significant group of white Americans – three in 10 – can be described as less-sensitive toward racial issues. These are whites who don't have a black friend, and/or don't think blacks in their community experience discrimination, and/or have feelings of prejudice (at least two of the three).
3 in 10 are less sensitive towards race issues. They don't have black friends and don't think blacks in their community experience discrimination, yet they've got feelings of prejudice? That makes no sense. If they don't care about racial issues, don't see it as a problem, how can they be considered prejudiced?

Those numbers are only for whites. What are you are claiming.. that whites, are prejudiced against their own kind if they support Obama?
people are really searching the bottom of the barrel for stuff to talk about.
I know. Obama even said this past week that he's preparing for the GOP's assault on his race. I think this poll shows that he really doesn't have much to worry about other than the 2 or 3 in ten that weren't likely to vote for him anyway.
I think that the majority of white people won't vote for him because he's a bad candidate. not because they don't like black people. I also think that the majority of black people will vote for him because he's black. it offsets the other.
