Yes, and when he finally learns where Iraq is located in the world, he will be even a sharper 'tack'. HAHAHA!

Can we kill this thread? I have posted in it enough but it seems like folks are leaving the wives alone and this thread title is not in keeping with that.

If your definition of 'do just fine' is staying in Iraq permanantly and starting a new war in Iran, then yes, he will.

One of the constant themes in this once dated thread was the following question:

Did John McCain leave his wife for Cindy because he considered Cindy to be a TROPHY WIFE?
From the following we examine the criteria and if Cindy in the mind of the good senator fit the mold.
AskMen.com - Trophy wife
Trophy wife: The (rarely first) wife of an affluent (often older) man who is (often younger and) exceptionally (more) attractive (than he is). Prevailing synonyms include: gold digger, socialite, shopaholic, secret envy of countless women, and object of feminist scorn

From presidential candidate McCains offering of Cindy as Miss Buffalo Chip do you consider that to be affirmation that he saw/sees her as a Trophy Wife and was using the biker rally at Sturgis as a showcase venue? Sorta like allowing the many weekend bikers there to live out their fantasies vicariously through him?
vicarious - Dictionary definition and pronunciation - Yahoo! Education
Felt or undergone as if one were taking part in the experience or feelings of another: read about mountain climbing and experienced vicarious thrills.

It really is quite clever and ingenious on his part. First the ad spot with Britney the young blonde sexpot to plant that seed and thought in the bikers minds prior to their arrival at sturgis. Then the multitude of shirts being pulled up by female attendees. Then the brilliance of it all when he presents Cindy to them and teased them with the fact that he has one and he just might let them share in the experience if not directly then by wishing they were John McCain. Really quite brilliant on his part. I wonder how many men that night morphed the images of Britney and Cindy together etc etc etc.

Yes John put Cindy on display and let it be known he is the man and not yet over the hill.

Well, he may be male. But I don't consider someone who treats his wife in that manner to be a man.

He is from a different era. Trophy wives used to be all the rage.

I think it was pretty demeaning. The look on her face said it all.
