Several Obama fund-raisers interviewed, however, said privately that they believed helping Mrs. Clinton with her debt would be difficult, given that they are also being asked to raise money for Mr. Obama and to build up the coffers of the Democratic National Committee, which badly trails the Republican National Committee in cash on hand.

Obama is the only one connected with the Democratic national campaign that can raise the price of a cup of coffee it seems. Hillary is in debt, the DNC is struggling to raise money independent of Obama doing it for them and Denver is behind in fundraising for the convention. Will Obama have any money to campaign with? What if Hillary had gotten the nomination in debt with more money to spend? Would they still be expecting Obama as the defeated candidate to still be their money man? Is this incompetence on the part of the party leadership or is their base independent of Obama just dirt poor or indifferent?

AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGgh it is this or Bomb Bomb Iran, McCain.

Barack Obama raised nearly $5 million Tuesday at a celebrity-packed fundraiser that was the equivalent of the entertainment industry's coming-out party for the likely Democratic presidential nominee.

Obama's campaign refused to say how many millions he and the Democratic National Committee raised at the gala, but Democratic officials put the number at close to $5 million. They spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the numbers publicly.

If hillary has won the money would be there. It is not unusual for candidates to be in debt after losing. But tehn how Obama is looking to teh same money peole that supported hillary instead of taking public funded money.

Yup and how did Hillary go so far in debt when she was self proclaimed doing so well and winning the popular vote her way. When the going got tough did her fundraisers just go?
