This is going to be humorous. How many Obama supporters out here criticized the Bush stimulus package, but now thinks Obama's stimulus package is an AWSOME IDEA?

Obama, McCain trade jabs on economy, energy - MarketWatch

Missouri, however, is another battleground state, and it is there that Obama will seek to drum up support for a second stimulus package aimed at middle-class families while attacking McCain on taxes, health care and other issues.

So a tax free summer is a gimmick, but writing out "energy checks" is not one? Sorry, I'm confused..

One word: PARTISANSHIP. If a Republican proposes something, media and liberals attack him/her. If a Democrat proposes the same exact thing, media treats it like it's the best idea ever and liberals worship it.

Actually, Obama wants to raise Cap Gains Tax (double it), which will destroy US economy. So in that sense, Obama is far from Bush.

Obama's capital gains tax is a tax on economic growth
