McCain has many things going against him [ie he is 5'7 & Obama is 6'2" - not an impressive image in debates. McCain kind of suggests a "Mr Magoo"; he seems to wince a lot - did anyone else catch the hilarious market episode of McCain talking with a family while they shopped? With the cameras running, a woman right behind McCain accidentally knocked over a whole bunch of cans off the shelf. McCain appeared startled & it ruined his store appearance as more comical material for late-night TV
they did a SNL during the dukakis vs. bush debates where they made fun of dukakis's height. he was behind the podium, and then you hear a motor start and he slowly gets taller. too funny.

This story reminds me of why we have to think long and hard about who we are voting for this year. All of the gaffes (Czechoslovakia, German President Putin, Iraq/Pakistan border, etc) tell me that it would not be too smart to put such an elderly person in control of "the button."
