Watch it, a strategic mistake on the part of Obama. While he is on vacation it is McCain against himself and he has the golden opportunity to catch Obama in the polls and move ahead of him. The only question seems to be if Obama will be able to recover and regain at least a tie when he returns.

Doesn't McCain only work like 3 days a week? Sounds like he's on vacation every week.

Don't worry. The conventions will spell McCain's demise.

Not so sure when you are sprinting against yourself and the person you are racing against is taking time to energize you should be pulling ahead.

Obama is pulling ahead in the polls this weekend. Check it out for yourself at real clear politics. I have a feeling McCain is not going to catch even with the O man on vacation.

I don't believe Obama is sprinting yet. He has been on the defensive actually, but in my opinion, that is going to change and the conventions will be that pivotal moment.... We'll see.

Some of you who joke about McCain's chances are not paying attention. Obama should win, but he isn't the shoe-in some seem to think he is.

Yup, ultimately he'll win, whether or not he's a shoe-in. No matter how much McCain socks at him. No matter what kind of hose job they pull.

Gee... hope they don't boot me off the forum for making such a bad joke...

considering McCain hasn't led in the polls since Obama became the presumptive nominee I seriously doubt a week's vacation is going to put him ahead especially going into the Democratic convention soon.

Listen you knuckleheads, if Obama's numbers in an election now, mirrored those in the polls now, it would be considered a blowout.

We haven't even picked veeps yet, or had a debate (which will surely be the demise of McCain.)
