Wow, just Wow! I am speechless (a miracle in and of itself)

Obama to General Wesley Clark: Your Services Not Needed - The Washington Note

I do get that impression from obama and his campaign - very vindictive and petty.

"Update: I have reconfirmed with General Wesley Clark's office that he has not been asked to play a role at the Democratic National Convention. His staff have told me that while his schedule remains tight, he would rearrange his schedule to help play any constructive role on any days of the convention if asked."

He made his own bed....Obama: take warning to condemning military records...

Well, Clark challenged McCain's military background as being a leadership qualification, on the behalf of Obama.

Glad to see him get thrown under the bus by Obama. Now he has absolutely no support group. Clark is political history.

What a wuss.

At this point Obama would be considered serial.....with the folks he has thrown under the bus...Everything from rappers to commanders....what's bad is he endorses them right before the execute themselves.....then has to "clarify"

Update: I have reconfirmed with General Wesley Clark's office that he has not been asked to play a role at the Democratic National Convention. His staff have told me that while his schedule remains tight, he would rearrange his schedule to help play any constructive role on any days of the convention if asked.

Read the article, the above is from it. He was not given a speaking role as were not many others. Where did it say his services were not needed?

Warner Pick for Convention May Signal Sidelines for Kaine | The Trail | washingtonpost.com
choice of former Virginia governor Mark R. Warner to give the Tuesday night keynote speech at the Democratic National Convention is likely to spark a fresh round of speculation about Sen. Barack Obama's vice presidential choice.

Warner's selection is unlikely to be good news for current Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine, who has been a finalist for the running mate job. The prospect of two Virginia governors giving speeches on successive nights at the convention is thought to be unlikely.

Wow oh wow given the logic of this thread Tim Kaine is being thrown under the bus as is every name ever mentioned as a VP possibility who isn't given a speaking opportunity. Wow while we are at it so is every party leader. Let's have a month long convention so everyone can speak.

He could do a nice spot on McCain and how his military qualification don't qualify him to be president.

He "could" but Wesley (oh God) was "Bubbas General" during Clintons War and was known as a back stabbing kiss a** to many of his subordinates. Wesley has no clout, Schwartzkopf or Zumwalt he ain't.
