I suspect that many if not most of the people who are voting for Barrack Obama are doing so because he is the least offensive Black Candidate that has run so far. So they can feel all warm and fuzzy, they have decided to support him so they will not feel like a racist. If in fact Black people were discriminated in the past, voting for safe Barrack will allow the voter to feel like they are politically correct and not be held responsible for how some Whites have treated Blacks before.

So, is Barrack Obama an Affirmative Action Candidate?

just as many people are voting against him as are voting for him for such a reason. personally, I looked at the issues and hes simply the best candidate for me. He won me over on his own merits, although I will admit it did help catch my attention initially to look up his stance on the issues. But If I didn't agree with them, I wouldn't have stuck with him.
