Incredible reading many of the threads here on this hot topic. It seems as though nothing is believed unless there is a link attached. The credibility of the opinion or viewpoint then rides on how credible the link is. How in the world did people make decisions BEFORE the internet? Try common sense.
John McCain is purely a pathetic man and a very sorry candidate to run this country. We have just been under the control of the worst man to reside in the oval office in history, George Bush. McCain stood by while Bush made the tactical mistake of attacking a sovereign nation without an imminent threat. It was an attempt to fight an ideology with bigger guns. Rumsfeld said it would be "shock an awe" and he was right. Many of the enlightened in this country and around the world were shocked and awed by the utter stupidity of it all. The ideology ultimately prevailed with Bush instituting a "surge" to give a meaningless "military" victory in isolated circumstances. But the "surge" failed to accomplish the ultimate goal of dealing with the ideology. The surge failed. The ideology remains. Al Queda flourishes. Bin Laden still at large. Bush failed. The surge failed. The Republicans were wrong. The red states were wrong. Cheney was wrong. This country is in economic shambles because of the move and the neglect. The Republicans lied to this country in stating that "we need 4 more years to finish what we started." It really is quite bad.
So where was McCain during all this? He's the "maverick" and is supposed to have such good ideas. He supposedly knows how to "reach across the table." He abandoned his first wife during her time need, and probably cheated on her before that. He was a POW but so what? Word is that he negotiated with the enemy to the detriment of his own country, to preserve his own life. Hero? Hardly. When he found out that Bush LIED to attack a sovereign nation, where was the outrage? Where have been McCain's great programs and ideas during this last 8 years as a Senator? After all, he's supposed to have the "experience." What impact has he had and how much has his inaction contributed to the problems we face today?
Sorry folks, but I am a free thinker and I certainly don't need links to decide in this election who is the wrong candidate. That would be McCain.
What's the matter? Obama's pitiful performance got you skeered?
