Did someone not tell the GOP that they have been in charge of the executive branch for the past 8 years and the legislative for 12 years up till two years ago.

Watching the republican convention you would think they had nothing to do with the mess we are in and are coming to clean up. I have one question. Since you where the ones in charge who do you think made the mess?

I think they have some nerve insulting the American people by running as the underdog.

I guess just like at the convention, no one want to acknowledge the past 8 years.

Bush/Cheney/Rove won the White House by insulting the American people - why not try it again?

B/c somehow this isn't their fault. It started back in the Clinton era when Bill left too much money on the table for quick spenders to get their hands on. Take that money and start a war we'll reap the benefits later when the people of Iraq thank us with oil for getting rid of Saddam. Yeah right!!!!

Blame should be placed where it is deserved. Specifically everyone who voted for Bush twice! and intends on voting for McCain!
They are doing it because we (American people) are basically giving them permission.

I've been saying since last night, that watching the RNC you would think its 1999 or 2000 not 2008.

All the establishment is against us/underdog rhetoric is sickening. Their base is like Pavlog's dogs. They just love that stuff.

Don't forget good ol' Gore. Even though he did get more votes than Bush it's partly his fault for not getting even more votes and keeping the Supreme Court out of the election business.
