I dont remember his speech but do remember him saying "Quit lying about my record!" in an angry interview once, and it pretty well doomed his chances.

I bumped into Bob a few months ago in D.C. at the WWII Memorial, he looks very well for his age

The real question is: WILL ANYONE REMEMBER BARACK OBAMA'S SPEECH 6 MONTHS FROM NOW?

That's funny, odanny.

Because speaking of failed presidential candidates, I ran into Walter Mondale and his wife a few weeks ago at Reagan National. He looked really old and it was sad watching them roll their luggage through the terminal all by themselves. Nobody knew who he was, it seemed.

Because this is perhaps one of the worst nomination speeches in recent memory?

that doesn't really answer why. Seriously. Isn't answering why questions a requirement for getting through 2nd grade?

WHY was it one of the worst?

History will never forget one of the greatest convention speeches ever, spoken before 84,000 people.

McCain? Already forgotten
