I think that the Republican lies are my biggest complaint against them. I don't mind legitimate claims and criticisms but when they just make things up it cheapens the discussion and lowers the IQ of everyone participating.

They all lie. I wish all candidates were called to the carpet on the bs they spout after EVERY speech/interview etc. This is partially our(the voters/supporters) fault simply because they say what we want to hear and we just go along with it. Obama supporters know he stretches the truth, so do McCain supporters but each side wants to win so bad we let it slide, and even defend the bs. (I am guilty as are most on this forum)
The again, if politicians were all truthful, noone would get elected lol.
Can you imagine if a candidate actually came out and said "we are going to take money from you, advance our own best interests, and you are going to like it!"

An objective eye sees this as spin. That aside, I don't recall The One mentioning cleaning out Washington DC of corrupt democrats. He does mention some nebulous "change" he will enact. And has still not described said "change" to any thinking person's satisfaction. He does have his fan club though...

I do believe McCain mentioned before millions that he promises to do just that, clean out the corrupt democrats AND REPUBLICANS in DC. I am of neither party, so hope he is good on that very tough promise; but will believe it when I see it!

The sad fact is that each candidate and the losers they beat are all lying pieces of s**t and it will show next year when the candidacy of dunces begins, whomever that may be.

The GOP lied their smelly asses off during the convention, said they would fix everything, then gave no specifics, either at the podium or on the McCain website, which is just sorry-assed fluff and vagueness.
