McCain didn't love his country until the '70s!!! Holy carp batman, can this be true? What is he, some kind of America hating, commie simp? And after we gave him a free college education, although bottom of the class doesn't mean much in engineering school.

Yes, it is true. Were it to be believed he cynically joined the Navy to carry on the family business without an honest love for his country! He had to be imprisoned, tortured and starved until he found the love the rest of us have had all our lives. Shocking!!!
Nice try you lefties are so pathetic. My wife lived overseas and in those 7 years she found the true meaning of being an American. She learned to appreciate all that is afforded us as Americans. Clean drinking water...have you ever had a shot for malaria? Working sewage...yes I'm sure we have all had to go in the bushes at some point as we couldn't hold it any longer, but think of public restrooms as a hole in floor swarming with disease ridden biting flies that can cause blindness if they land near your eyes. Watching real TV and having a choice in the news and being able to watch shows for more than three hours a day. Think of not seeing a church or bible for 7 years as a catholic, not celebrating a Traditional Christmas, no pork, no coca-cola, no freedom. Have any of you had to witness a thief’s hand getting chopped off? She has and since she was an American she was taken to the front row.
When you live in a foreign third world country or you are one of the fine brave men and women serving in the military you know the truth of how you learn to see and love your country in a whole new way. You may have always loved it, but it was not until you were without it that you began to understand the sheer magnitude of its glory.
