What exactly would we have lost? We invaded a sovereign country that did not attack us. We destroyed their infrastructure, created untold numbers of refugees, lost 4000+ American lives and overflowed hospitals with tens of thousands of horribly maimed and injured service people and civilians.
We've compromised our standing around the world. We do not have enough available troops now to attend to any other crisis and we are trillions of dollars in debt.
Why did we need a 'surge' - why didn't Bush listen to his generals in the first place? Conditions had to go completely down the toilet before they realized that they should have listened to the generals in the first place.
I give no credit for finally, finally cleaning up a mess they created in the first place.

You can keep posting this, but, based on the lack of responses the first time, it seems to me that people really don't think this is an issue.
As I said before, what is anti-American about wanting peace and providing humanitarian aid?

Obama is more closely aligned philosophically to the crazies in Code Pink than to military families. And too, it is likely the nutjobs in Code Pink have more money than military families to give to his campaign. If anyone goes under the wheels of the bus, my money is on the military.
