McCain camp accuses Obama of trying to play the victim (interview, middle east)

The GOP campaign sought to make this clear and then stretched the truth.

"Barack Obama’s suggestion that the McCain campaign is somehow trying to paint him with ‘Muslim connections’ is false, and a cynical attempt to play the victim," said McCain campaign chief Rick Davis in a statement.

Unlike the claim that set off a sharp back and forth this summer about who was raising racial issues, though, Obama didn't say the McCain campaign had done any such thing. He used the safer, and accurate, word "Republicans."

But this aside, does the McCain campaign really want to accuse anybody else of an "attempt to play the victim" after their efforts to gain sympathy and rouse their base by crying out over the coverage of Palin?

Recall: McCain's campaign sent out a fundraising appeal claiming the "Obama-Biden Democrats" had gone after the Palin family and then were able to list zero examples of any such efforts by the Democratic ticket.

Although you gotta give him a *little* credit for daring to chastise his own GOP party at their convention. A ballsy or desperate move?

So Obama owns the change now?

Obama is crying, as of today he is now considering himself as white for the first time ever. He is scared and has now insulted all whites by just now saying he is 1/2 white.

Why did he wait so long to say this? If anyone is a victim, it is the Obama followers.

While an honest person will stand up against anyone even within their own party, Obama has never and will never do that even if he knew someone was wrong. Huge difference, McCain is a man and Obama is a little boy.

Wait and see, this country will go nuts when McCain wins, have the fire trucks, police, national guard and every military person ready as these people are so over aggressive and will do what Obama is now doing, I am the victim and it will show.

So Obama is just now 1/2 white all of a sudden and he is the victim.
