Bloop reported yesterday. VP candidate states "Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae are taxpayer funded," which in fact is not true.

If you're running for such an important post and don't know basic facts, what business do you have running?

Well, most large US or US based mutinationals are usually bailed out by our tax dollars, you know, welfare for the rich, welfare for the corporations tha export our jobs to other countries????

That does not cover up the fact of her ignorance.
Yeah, she can lead us.
Another empty headed sock puppet for the neocons, just like Bush.

Swing and a miss...

"The prospectuses for all of Fannie Mae's and Freddie Mac's debt offerings clearly state that the U.S. government does not back the company's debt instruments. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are not agencies of the Federal or any state government, nor do they receive any subsidy or appropriation from the government."

If you can't get a short quote right, what business do you have in posting?

If you have to resort to dishonesty or to misquote a statement in an effort to smear, it probably isn't going to stick.
