ABC News: Obama Admits Mistakes

In Obama Interview ABC's Gibson Imitates Saturday Night Live? | NewsBusters.org

Senator, you're kind to take the time, on a day when you legitimately should be able to simply just take long naps. I thank you. All the best to you.

In the February 23 Saturday Night Live parody of journalists in the tank for Barack Obama a reporter at a debate oozed: “Senator Obama, are you comfortable? Is there anything we can get for you?” Ending a taped interview Thursday with the real Obama, a real journalist, ABC anchor Charles Gibson, seemed to match the concern for Obama's personal comfort expressed in the SNL caricature:
Let's compare the grilling of Palin to the absurdly softball interview of obama by Gibson. No comparison.

So, did you put a link to the debate with Clinton where Gibson and Stephanopolous grilled Obama for 45 minutes on issues related to personal relationships as opposed to questions that are actually related to the issues?

The fact of the matter is Palin will not come out and talk to anyone in the media so Gibson is asking questions that normal and knowledgable politicians address daily... We already know Obama's stance on issues... We have access to the info we need to make decisions when we vote. He has been chatting with media for the past 19 months.. McSame will not let her answer any questions, so when someone has the oppertunity to ask her some info,,,well,,,he asked her some info...

It is unfortunate to see when your lady gets the chance to show the nation she can do the job, she does nothing but show her incompetence with her own words. She is talking herself down the drain...
You don't need to compare... Well I guess you do to somehow justify her unqualified answers, but whatever...
Why would you compare Obama to Palin anyway? Obama is running against McSame...not Palin. Why don't you compare an Biden interview to Palin?

Careful, people might start to compare McCain's positions 2000 with his 2008 positions.

That was a live debate, not a edited interview which would seem to be poorly edited to fit with ABC's agenda.

you have the wrong attitude... even a broken clock is right twice a day. pick a position and once about every 10 days it will be obama's

"Biased interview" has just left for the day. The word here is "ridiculous interview"..... IF you can call that an interview!

This "interview" was more of a gotcha, sarcastic Obama talking points than real questions about issues.

The questions on an interview are (sample):

"The economy is in trouble. What do you do then". Rather than idiot questions like "What is the Bush doctrine", when clearly, Gibson doesn't even KNOW what that is - and the "Doctrine" has been stated to be 4 different things!

Palin was hardly grilled, and those questions would have been softball questions for most politicians. They were difficult for Palin because she doesn't know the answers.

It must be nice to have the liberal press to blame for the shortcomings of your candidate.
