I differ from some Bush haters though and I'll admit it right here. I don't think he lacks compassion. I think Cheney lacks compassion. I think Bush lacks all common sense. I don't think he's evil, I think he's unintelligent and incompetent, and we've all paid the price for him being in office. I would have hoped that we wouldn't have to face it again in the form of another person, and I hope we don't have to face it in the form of people who are incompetent AND evil.

Everytime he has tried to show compassion he has failed miserably.

If he truly had compassion he would not have to be instructed when, and how, to act like he is compassionate.

He's an idiot, of course, but he was raised with a life of privilege and is unable to relate, or connect, with those who are hurting, even if his decision making is responsible for the pain.

He's oblivious, for whatever specific reasons I dont know

Hubris - it's not an admirable quality in a leader.

I can't understand why it would be a good thing for a leader to have an unwavering opinion that can't be swayed by any facts. I want my president to change his mind based on the situation. It is called adaptation and its what has kept our species alive this long! Bush and Palin are long lost siblings, I'm convinced.

As much as I can't stand Bush as president, he's got humility (er...how could he not...).

Why do you continually post this? Engage with the issues, will you, or be quiet.

Why do all of these people posting on here keep saying they are scared? I am so tired of hearing, "scarey". What are they scared of--someone's little religion? These religious beliefs have been around for decades--completely harmless. Don't you think you should be more "scared" of terroists, or socialists--or whatever? What Wimps!
