Obama spoke in Golden, Colorado today. In his speech he talked about the current economic crisis. You can read the full text of his speech at the Denver Post website:

Obama: Confronting an Economic Crisis

Quote:
Over the last few days, we have seen clearly what's at stake in this election. The news from Wall Street has shaken the American people's faith in our economy. The situation with Lehman Brothers and other financial institutions is the latest in a wave of crises that have generated tremendous uncertainty about the future of our financial markets. This is a major threat to our economy and its ability to create good-paying jobs and help working Americans pay their bills, save for their future, and make their mortgage payments. . .

According to McCain we're fine and this is a "mental" recession. According to Palin, Bush's economic policies were failures, and only can be corrected by McCain/Palin who also adhere to Bush's failed economic policies.

Obama talks out his butt Moderator cut: language*. He should spend less time trying to put down everything McCain says and have some thoughts of his own. McCain runs circles around Obama. If Obama told the truth instead of trying to SCARE people into voting for him, he'd tell you that Lehman Brothers is going to have NO effect on any of us.

Obama could not run a small community let alone an entire country.

He is a moron who has no answers to anything.

"JUST WORDS" no action.

This is the same guy whos wife has said they struggled when they were making 300k per year.

How in the hell can anyone struggle on making 300k per year?

He couldn't run a girl scout troop cookie sale without stealing and taxing the kids to death.

To get back to the thread topic, I quoted the opening post.

Since Sarah Palin spoke in Golden, Colorado yesterday, I've been searching for the text to her speech, to be able to compare. I couldn't find it, but
I found a link to the video of her speech, for those who want to compare their plans and concerns:

Gov. Sarah Palin Speaks at Enthusiastic Rally in Golden, Colorado - Complete Video 9/15/08
