Why is Obama's campaign so nasty -- And over trivial issues (John Kerry, thought)

What happened to Obama's promise of change??? It appears McCain and Palin are out talking the issues the last couple days -- virtually ignoring the opposition, and Obama and Biden are out there watching the other side's campaign, nipping at their heels as if little dogs; trying to spin any phrase in a negative light.
Does Obama have any message? Anything??? Since McCain showed real change by not picking a 36 year senate insider it appears as if Obama has run out of gas. He doesn't look to have anything left but hate and anger.

Raising his hands is not an issue I've seen Obama bring up. Although I haven't seen them bring this up either. McCain should be computer literate however. Is he too old? As people age, they become less healthy. Ive heard McCain has a 1 in 3 chance of not living throuhg his first term. THis is another issue I haven't heard Obama's campaign bring up. You HAVE TO BE KIDDING ME!!! The media is in a frenzy about how McCain is suddenly blatantly lying like there's no tomorrow and you're actually attempting to paint Obama as the smear king? This is ridiculous! McCain has lied numerous times in the last few weeks, while all of the attacks you listed above either didn't come from the Obama campaign, or are legitimate issues! I find it astounding that someone could be so blind as to see things in complete reverse from reality!

Both campaigns have rolled in the mud more than they should. To focus on Obama/Biden and pretend McCain/Palin hasn't been every bit as mud-slingy (and the candidates have generally stayed out of it, but their operatives have dirty hands...) is myopic and hypocritical.
