The last time a democrat won in Indiana was 1968. yet this poll shows Obama leading 47% to McCain's 44%.

Obama will not carry Indiana. I lived there for over 15 years. I've got a pretty good read on the political climate there.

In many areas, that is sadly very true. The KKK is headquartered in Indiana, not the deep south.

I've never met anyone who wasn't a racist to some degree. Not one, of any color or origin.
