Obama opens up lead in VA, a state once thought a sure-thing for McCain. Will other southern states follow? (NC, GA, FL?)

This is great news for Obama. If he can take Virginia off the table then it gets awfully tough for McCain.

Having Mark Warner running for the Senate has to help here also. He was very popular as a governor and the last time I looked he was up about 30 points in the poll. Virginia is going Democrat all the way!

Virginia is a blue state now. The only reason why people are keeping an eye on Virginia is because the state has been red for 40 years. So its surreal to some people that its turning blue. But its actually been a gradual thing over the past several year with the electing of democratic senators and a democratic governor.

Just keep telling yourself that the polls are wrong, that McCain is going to win. Is your delusional disbelief going to still be around next Wednesday?
