"An internal government document obtained by ABC News appears to contradict Sarah Palin's most recent explanation for why she fired her public safety chief, the move which prompted the now-contested state probe into "Troopergate."
This thing is unravaling by the day.....no wonder the McCain campaign is fighting so hard to delay this. Todd Palin is even risking going to jail for being in contempt of court. You dont risk going to jail unless you are afraid something will be revealed.
Its clear that Troopergate is much bigger than people realized and it attacts the very heart of her credibilty. In the beginning people brushed it aside as if it wasnt even a real scandal. But now its becoming a REAL problem for the McCain Campaign and since the Palin bubble has popped McCain may have made the biggest mistake in his political career by making Sarah Palin his running mate.
Do you not see a resemblance of how the Palin's are handling their scandal and how Carl Rove handled his?
On May 22, 2008, Rove was given a subpoena to testify before a House Committee about his role in the Siegelman conviction. Rove has refused to testify, citing executive privilege. A congressional subcommittee voted 7-1 to reject this claim. As of September 11, 2008 the situation is unresolved
Maybe Carl Rove gave advice for the Palin's to ignore the subpoenas.
Troopergate is at the core of Shadowgate. When people find out the extent of Todd's involvement in Alaskan official business -- and the reason behind that -- the McCain campaign is finished.

That's the first thing I thought of upon hearing they would ignore the subpoenas - right from Carl Rove's playbook! How 'American' of them!
