Since you're so concerned about his legal vices, one can only hope he institutes a National Lottery. One must also warn the weak willed that a Lottery ticket is not a sound retirement investment.
It is about his ties to the lobbying industry not his personal vice.
McCain not looking good. Losing in the polls, lying in ads and in debate. Lost the debate to Obama. Lousy, unqualified VP pick. Now this revelation. The man is NOT GOOD for this country. He's better off giving desert foot tours in Arizona.
Whats amazing are the post either assuming what the article says or trying to get those who don't read it to believe it focuses on his gambling and not his incredible ties to gambling lobbiest by him and his campaign members. You should see the articles coming from Time and Newsweek this week. He is going to need another Hail Mary that gets caught this time by someone on his own team. Read Time and Newsweek.

Not too many of the usual con fanatics like Sanrene and Slash83 responding to this. Does McCain have a gambling problem? Proably not if you have over 100 million in the bank to being with. Is he hanging around in a sleaze industry and helps them get their way when they have hurt so many people? The article shows a resounding yes.
Not even close. You cannot compare Sen. Obama involvement in an organization that primarily helped people in one city to what appears to be a nationwide relationship.
Everyone should read this article. While the focus is on Sen. McCain's ties to the gambling industry, there are some references to concerns that his staff had/has about his propensity to spend a bit more time than 'comfortable' at the tables.

Exactly! They are trying to spin this as a silly little personal issue that McCain has overcome. The real issue is that he is potrayed as a drity insider beholden to lobbyists - not the maverick he wants you to think he is.

Does this help make it clear for you? The article is not about McCain but about others who may know him!

As factions of the ferociously competitive gambling industry have vied for an edge, they have found it advantageous to cultivate a relationship with Mr. McCain or hire someone who has one, according to an examination based on more than 70 interviews and thousands of pages of documents.

The real issue, as I said before, is the insider connections for McCain. A gambling problem - real or not - is not the real story. Clear enough for you??
