Single people, take note. Obama says he'll give take cuts to "middle class families". If you are a middle class single you will NOT receive a tax cut. Your taxes will increase. I checked with my accountant.

Thanks for your attempt to answer my post, but
I read this MONTHS ago. What is his CURRENT position on what he will do to the Treasury system to get us out of this mess?

Afterschool programs are great, but I don't see their relevance in fixing the dollar value versus the Euro, loosening credit markets, changing tax rates on investments (heard we was now considering changing his proposed capital gains tax rate?).

That is the kind of specific economic information I was looking for.

You're not supposed to actually post what he plans to do

The question was rhetorical.

Boy, the way Glenn Miller played. Songs that made the Hit Parade.
Guys like us, we had it made. Those were the days.
Didn't need no welfare state. Everybody pulled his weight.
Gee, our old LaSalle ran great. Those were the days.
And you know who you were then. Girls were girls and men were men.
Mister, we could use a man like Herbert Hoover again.
People seemed to be content. Fifty dollars paid the rent.
Freaks were in a circus tent. Those were the days.
Take a little Sunday spin, go to watch the Dodgers win.
Have yourself a dandy day that cost you under a fin.
Hair was short and skirts were long. Kate Smith really sold a song.
I don't know just what went wrong. Those Were The Days.

Wrong they will have a $500 tax relief. Don't rush them into getting married too soon to get $1000.

Cut taxes for 95 percent of workers and their families with a tax cut of $500 for workers or $1,000 for working couples.

.
It's not rhetorical. What is wrong with asking what specific plans he has for the economy which is making him the better candidate to get us out of the recession?

I don't agree with really anything Obama wants to do and I have no evidence he will actually follow through on any of it like most politicians, but in todays economy, how is he going to pay for all of this? I am so tired of the constant spending from both parties.

Me too. It took me all these years to figure it out. I've been working so hard all my life. How stupid. If I work, the government takes half of my money to take care of other people. I quit! I'm looking for a social program that will take care of ME and I will sit on my ass all day. That sounds like more fun.
