No, sorry. Personally, I can find no justification for denying comfort measures to a very premature infant who is going to die in a few hours anyway. These measures would not be an attempt to prolong life, but things like keeping the infant warm and providing pain relief if needed. We would not treat patients with terminal illness like that. This is where we simply will have to differ.

In my opinion, abortion should occur before there is any chance that a breathing infant would be brought into the world. If an abortion occurs and a live infant is delivered, that infant deserves comfort measures during the minutes or hours before it dies. Call me any name you like.
