What makes you think we'd still have any allies?

Good to see the Brits still have that great talent for understatement.

Some do, little miss six pack isnt pulling in the popularity in my area- I am in a university town though- if I drove out to a trailer park in Western NC, they only vote on one issue, ....Things are changing though- and even my town is a population of 60,000 - too large for Palin to govern.

No One can ever say for sure if a candidate will become a great President / Vice President or a flop. America now has a tough choice between two candidates who have little credibilty. Looking at them both from the outside, with no party affiliation, Obama ticks far more boxes than McCain. When looking at the VP's, it seems that McCain tried to woo the disgruntled female voters and his gamble isn't paying off. Sarah Palin looks and sounds like a "trophy" VP choice. She is irritating, shallow and seems to get pleasure in being "flakey". To think that she could be a heartbeat away from being President is Scarey. Hopefully after this election she can go back to Alaska and be a good Governer. As far as being a VP, she is sadly lacking in all Depts.

She is sadly lacking in skill, intellect, education and grammar. And it would be nice if McSame had enough respect for American citizens to choose someone of substance, who graduated college in the alloted time period, not a flaky flyaway person with no direction.

What does her dysfunctional family have to do with it, no one will care about that if Mccain wins, gets sick, and this lightweight ends up in charge. If even for a day, she makes this country look even more ridiculous, and as Paul Begala has noted, it will be a scary day indeed.

I pity you. You think I'm going to believe that a bunch of low class uneducated people are educated enough to "know the truth." The same group that gave us Bush. Are you serious?

dreamofmonterey, couldn't agree more. Next someone will say that Cindy is a "woman of the people". Cannot understand how such a wealthy woman always looks like she has justed clocked off work in a biker's bar. I know different people appeal to different people, otherwise ugly people would never be married, but to use Cindy and Sarah as poster girls for todays women is insulting to women everywhere.
