Yeah. I laughed when he said that. "No one in either party likes me so I'm the one that can bring everyone together." What a hoot.

That was a moment of clarity. You can even see it in his campaign - Palin energizes the base, and McCain sends them back into indifference. He is a bitter pill to swallow for most people in his party. He's probably their best chance this time around, though.
