Palin has finally taken some questions from her traveling press corps. It doesn't exactly qualify as a news conference. I found it amusing that Palin criticizes Obama for not answering "simple" questions.
Clips:
Ms. Palin was asked if she thinks voters who are worried about the economy are turned off by the “attack politics” of bringing up Mr. Ayers on the trail.
... “It comes down to one ticket’s proposal that can be trusted, and another ticket’s proposal to deal with some of these issues and maybe questioning the truthfulness and the intention there. I think it’s very relevant there.”
Are you saying that Senator Obama is dishonest, one reporter asked?
“I’m not saying that he’s dishonest, but in terms of judgment, in terms of being able to answer a question forthrightly, it has two different parts to this. The judgment and the truthfulness and just being able to answer very candidly a simple question about when did you know him, how did you know him, is there still – has there been an association continued since ’02 or ’05, I know I’ve read a couple different stories. I think it’s relevant.”

Which question is harder?

What do you know about Williams Ayers, his politics, his background and what was he doing when you were 8?

OR

What do you read?

That b***h needs to shut up.

Palin needs to answer why Republicans are palling around with terrorists. Here is a new BBC report that says Afghan president Karzai's brother was talking to Tabilan in the presence of Saudi king. Talebans are known and currently active terrorists. Bush-McCain know Karzai and Saudis well - in fact Bush practically slipped the Saudi leader the tongue when he visited Crawford. So, Palin or her supporters should try to explain why their bosses are "palling around" with known and current terrorists. Goose-gander logic should prevail :

The Afghan president's brother sat with former Taleban leaders at a religious meal hosted by the Saudi King Abdullah last month, the BBC has learnt (Source: BBC NEWS | South Asia | Karzai's brother 'met ex-Taleban')

Palin gives me a headache. The McCain campaign should provide everyone within earshot of her a bottle of aspirin.

Oxy or Perks would be better. She is much more painful than your average headache.

Have you been reading the news? The Saudis are trying to broker a peace agreement between Karzai and the Taliban. The Saudi prince broke his fast with dinner with both parties. One of the conditions is the Taliban reject their relationship with al Qaeda. If they reject al Qaeda, it may make it easier to catch Osama b.l.

P.S. I am not supporting Palin

When this is all said and done, I think people are gonna look back at the Palin pick and the economy is fundamentally strong quote as the two big fatal mistakes commited by the McCain campaign.
