I watching. I would love to hear what McCain/ Palin people say about this since they feel Obamas is such a terriost. Sounds like the Palin family isn't what they seem.

It turns out that Sarah Palin tried to help the AIP get members in positions of power too...and the founder of the AIP had made statements in the past that if it came down to it he WOULD kill people if he had to. o_O

McCain's camp is MAD about this report. This is no different than them harping on Ayers, though...and the media has been covering that too.

Tearing the states apart, sundering the union, killing people to secede, that's terrorism. Meanwhile the GOP pillories Obama because he knows a guy who tried to STOP government abuses during the 1960's. The methods used by radicals in the 1960's were often violent, but they had to get people's attention that the Vietnam war was bogus, as the Iraq war is today.

There were other abuses during the sixties too, and gee, maybe 100 years after the Civil War you'd think that black citizens would have the right to vote, to live any place they can afford to live, to go to college, to sit at the bar and have a drink with the rest of us, but it was not to be, even 100 years after the war ended in 1865. I'd be full or rage too and probably take the heads off some people. Times have changed, most of the abuses are just a memory and Ayers is now in the mainstream. Mission Accomplished.

I found striking the comment about the AIP trying to INFILTRATE mainstream parties. That was a head turner on there.

Isn't AIP a treasonous organization?

I agree that this group is radical and dangerous. What I don't agree with is that any group in the 60's "had" to be violent. Martin Luther King Jr. wasn't violent. Ghandi wasn't violent. Violence is a choice some make and it's always the wrong choice.

That being said...Obama had no involvement at all with Ayers at the time Ayers was involved in that stuff. If he had of been, then there would be an issue. Since he wasn't, it's a non-issue.

Since Palin actually teamed up with AIP on political issues that IS something that DEFINITELY matters.
