Well since you want to turn this into an attack thread, what is your point of this thread then? If your point was only that it makes you sick...then thanks for the contribution, captain obvious.

I would never let my child go to school with a political shirt on and think that the parents brought this on their child, it does not negate the fact that the other children who called her racist are acting like they see their parents and other adults act. One can only imagine how sick the parents are that their children learned to call people names that do not agree with them.
Forcing anyone to vote in a way they wouldn't otherwise is NOT okay. That little girl being called names is not okay either. I do however blame it less on Obamaites and more on the kids parents as well as kids being kids. That does not excuse what they did but we all know that kids jump on anything different from them and bully each other at the slightest provocation when in a group of other kids.

One can only imagine the sick parents? One doesn't has to. Look around here. Don't agree with someone and you're a wingnut, a wacko, a commie, a socialist, a dirty liberal, a nutter, a right wing nut job etc. Both sides are saying and doing stupid stuff.

By other children, whoopdy-doo. Kids call each other names all the time. It's not like this girl is being persecuted by adults.

I said it did. You really want to make this into an arguement. That is all you have done since reading this thread.

Go and read that thread that the person started about the poor lady in Chicago that got death threats for her political preferences. Yeah, it is out of hand and the people of this country need to start acting like adults.

And that's why I thought it wrong for those NYC teachers wanting to wear Obama buttons to work. The teachers are role models for their students and by wearing the buttons are trying to influence their parents' votes. Are the Acorn workers sworn to be completely neutral politically when they are registering voters? Certainly not with that Ohio group as they drove homeless people to register and vote at the same time. They were happily counting how many votes they got for Obama on their website. Cheaters is all I can say about that.

Someone on another board lives in Richmond, VA. He's white and was wearing his firefighters uniform as he went into a 7-11 for a cup of coffee. The black cashier gave him really rude service, which surprised him as he's a regular there. When he asked why, she said that it was because he chose a McCain coffee cup over the Obama one... and that meant that he was a racist. Unbelievable. Since then, he's gone back to that 7-11 and bought more McCain cups. ( 7-11 is having some silly presidential polling with their coffee cups this month.)

Hey APJ we agree, maybe if you could leave out the whole "Obamabots" and "Obama Lovers" jabs we could have had an "adult" (as you say we should act) agreement without distractions?
