I find it hard to believe, if there is a grand creator, that in this universe of uncounted galaxies that this ball we call earth and all its silliness is even a blip on that creator's radar screen.

It's the people He is concerned about. As far as has been proven, there are not thinking humans anywhere but Earth.
I figure if I am really a Christian, I live each day as if it is my last on the earth with free will (Garden of Eden) and I choose based on my God given brain and who I think in my heart is the best for all the people, not just myself. I am going to rest my judgment on who elects the government of the US on the citizens of the US and who elects the government of Iraq on the citizens of Iraq, and who elects the goverment of Pakistan on the citizens of Pakistan. Since our form of governance does nothing to aid or block our personal relationship with God, it should be a non issue.

I see no reason to believe there aren't thinking creatures on other worlds.
When thousands of innocents are killed/maimed in the name of 'God', whatever one that may be, I just can't believe the everyday operations of 'Spaceship Earth' are under God's control.
Why is it that every religion (or denomination) thinks that they are going to be the ONLY one's going to Heaven when they die? If that's the case, guess what? We are all probably screwed.
As much of a role as you think he/she plays. I think fate plays a large role in everything, including elections, but is that God, us, the interplay between us, or something predestined from before we were born?? Who really knows these answers??

I think God is concerned with what's in our hearts - if we aim for what we truly believe is most likely to reduce misery and increase love and peace, we're doing the the best He can expect of us.

I'll see ya' there. Odds are you are in the "wrong" religion.
Gee, I just don't know, but NASCAR and football are not in the same category as the leader of our nation. In fact, they are totally non-important and non-existent as far as I'm concerned.
I agree but then why do people pray before car races and sporting events???? The last time I heard the start of a NASCAR race it sounded like one of those "Pay-for-Salvation" TV evangelists.
GOD IS IN CONTROL...........We think we are but NO HE IS IN CONTROL,even if we don't like the outcome. There is a reason and GOD knows the reason !!!!!!
