The lines are bound to be long, so I'll be thinking "damn, wish I had signed up for that mail in vote..."

...oh, and you know what else I'll be thinking? I'll be feeling sorry for the various people who show up with political t-shirts, etc.

Attention voters: Don't do that!

They will make you take your t-shirt off and put it back on inside out before you can get in line. And then everyone can see your deodorant marks.

I'm an Independent whose voting history has been all over the map for many years. This time I'll be voting Democrat NOT because I want to put Obama into office; he was not my first (a Dem), nor second (a Dem), nor even third (a Rep) choice for President. It's because I want to help keep the current Republican ticket OUT of the White House. Sadly, it's really not even McCain that I want to keep out: It's Palin. Had he chosen Romney instead, I honestly would probably not yet know which side I'd be pulling that lever for. But McCain drove my vote to the other side within 24 hours of selecting Palin.

It bothers me whenever I end up casting a "negative" or a "lesser of 2 evils" vote but sometimes that's just the way it happens, because of our "wonderful" two-party system....

There should have been a button for "Am I going to get some when I get home?"

I'll be early voting but on November 4th, I'll be happy that I will be off work and won't have to call people and hear them ask me, "Why aren't you out voting?" or anything else stupid they will say.

I don't know about that god part but I'll certainly be glad when it's all over.
I just hope McCain isn't elected or else I won't be going anywhere that day, I'll be in a state of mourning.

I'll be thinking I need to prepare for watching four years of scandals and investigations if Obama is elected.
