The Mississippi is actually a sliding scale culminating in Louisiana, just nobody lets the secret out.

Default Michelle Bachmann DUMPED by Minneapolis Star Tribune who endorse Tinklenberg

Today, the Minneapolis Star Tribune endorsed Elwyn Tinklenberg for the seat in Congresss, not Bachmann. The rambling editorial mentioned that Elwyn is a former Methodist minister, which should set well with social conservatives, and it praised him for setting an excellent example of smart growth in the suburbs that were once sod farms and mobile home parks. The link will take you to the story, which is worthy reading. SOURCE: http://www.startribune.com/opinion/e...DiU]Editorial: No pick in Third; Tinklenberg in Sixth

"While Tinklenberg's been criticized for not running a feistier campaign, he would be a tonic for partisan-riven Washington. He's an accomplished, level-headed politician who put in his time at the local and state level and has achieved much through consensus-building. This north-suburban district is hard hit by foreclosures and the economic downturn. It deserves a U.S. House representative who's practical, focused and results-oriented: Elwyn Tinklenberg."

Impressive.
