Barney Frank, a leader in the House, says, "Yes, I believe later on there should be tax increases," Frank said. "Speaking personally, I think there are a lot of very rich people out there whom we can tax at a point down the road and recover some of this money."
He and Obama must be working together, as Obama has said that he wants to "spread the wealth around". This means, of course, that he wants to take money from people who earn, people who make our economy work, who actually drive the economy, and he wants to "spread that money around to others who don't earn. That is Socialism by anybody's definition.
He also thinks more deficit spending is a good idea, as if we haven't had enough of that.
"I think at this point there needs to be a focus on an immediate increase in spending, and I think this is a time when deficit fear has to take a second seat," Frank said.
What America are these people living in? I don't recognize it. What they want to do is kill the engine of liberty, which is entrepreneurship, innovation, and capitalism. Rugged individualism.
Tell these people you aren't interested in their idea of America. Vote NObama. Vote McCain/Palin. Save our country from these thieves! Vote Republican, and send the House and Senate Democrats packing!
What the left has wanted all along is European socialism, which is a proven failure. Anyone notice that European governments, with all their "regulation", have seen huge problems and worse oscillations than the U.S. ?
Seems time for us to actually pay attention to the failures across the Atlantic. And reject their "suggestions" for American voters.
Nope. Voting for Obama. But yes, to saving our country from thieves.
8 years of a Republican nightmare, and you think the Democrats are the problem?
Right-o.
