And Remember: Many U.S. companies have had a good tax break for 8 years, under Bush, and they sent the jobs overseas, anyway.

On another note: What does that say about American companies, that they will abandoned their workers and their nation?
They cant get a tax break or penalty if the corporation moves ouside of the USA (Microsoft considered it at one point), and while I dont think companies will get up and simply move, I do think we are already seeing higher unemployment as companies budget for further tax hikes a year in advance. Taxes on USA companies are the second highest in the world. Raise taxes, increase unemployment, its that simple.

Companys will not stand for 1 more cent in new tax if Obama wins they will move.

Not only will 1000's on top of 1000's of jobs will be lost they are also going to move there HQ out of the country. The US will lose billions of $ the US can not tax them at all if there HQ is listed in brazil.

Also companys have plans to stop the union bill the dems want to pass
they will cut jobs left and right and send them overseas.

We already did. That bailout was done quietly in the midst of all the chaos over the big bailout.

Because you don't like what a poster says is no reason to be rude and condescending to them. Some of you need to learn some manners.

Nearly two-thirds of U.S. companies and 68% of foreign corporations do not pay federal income taxes, according to a congressional report released Tuesday.

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) examined samples of corporate tax returns filed between 1998 and 2005. In that time period, an annual average of 1.3 million U.S. companies and 39,000 foreign companies doing business in the United States paid no income taxes - despite having a combined $2.5 trillion in revenue.

Majority of corporations avoid federal income taxes - study - Aug. 12, 2008

We're seeing higher unemployment not because companies are "budgeting for further tax hikes." For the past 8 YEARS, their taxes have NOT been raised, and unemployment continues to rise. It's actually THAT simple.
