quit crying people.
You completely missed the entire point of the article. No one's saying that Sarah Palin spent too much money flying to- and from business meetings and appearances during her less-than-two-year term in office. The issue lies in the fact that she has charged over $20,000 to the state during the same less-than-two-year time period for her DAUGHTERS' travel expenses and hotel stays, claiming that they accompanied her to various events to perform "official state business." Then, once she had the VP nomination, and her records had been requested for review, she changed the wording of her expense report entries to indicate that her daughters had accompanied her in an "official capacity."

I ask you: What "official state business" could 17 year old, 14 year old, and 7 year old little girls possibly have?? Thousands of dollars charged to her state so that each individual daughter can pull a raffle ticket out of a hat? Are you kidding me? That's her idea of fiscal responsibility?? Four-day trips to NYC, while staying in $700/night rooms to attend a 5-hour conference the kid wasn't even invited to in the first place? That's fiscal responsibility?

The point where the article really exposes how irresponsible this all is, was the part where the former Alaskan Governor, who also had school-age children while in office, stated that he never once in his 6 years as Governor charged any of his childrens' travel expenses or other expenses to the state. He said there is absolutely no need to do so.

She's a fraud and a liar, and now her fiscal IRRESPONSIBILITY is being exposed.

Does the "media" include McCain? We know the kickbacks from McCain is availability of McCain and Palin for those hard hitting FOX interviews.

Did you read the article? She is charging Alaska for her kid's travel. She is claiming "official business". When there was no official business, she makes up stuff. When her kids are not invited, some of them show up anyway at state expense. She is the only gov in Alaska that has done so.

He couldn't have read it. His argument doesn't make sense in the context of the article and the issue at hand. Don't ya love it when people comment on something they know nothing about, because they didn't even bother to read the link provided before imparting their "wisdom?"

ROOM DISSERVICE- New York Post

October 21, 2008 -- THE source who told us last week about Michelle Obama getting lobster and caviar delivered to her room at the Waldorf-Astoria must have been under the influence of a mind-altering drug. She was not even staying at the Waldorf. We regret the mistake, and our former source is going to regret it, too. Bread and water would be too good for such disinformation.

Funny how fast that came out in the morning and how fast it was swept under the rug.
Um, that wasn't "swept under the rug"...the 'story' was completely false, and therefore swiftly debunked.
