Obama isn't bringing anyone home, but he sure is going to cut the costs, such as haz pay, enlisted pay and the other defense budgets that so many have served to earn. Your husband's retirement pay is at risk as well. You go ahead and support Obama....I'm supporting our troops, vets and everyone else who works for the DOD!
I am perfectly happy with Obama's plan for the military. The retirement is complete and I get my settlement and we are all ready to roll up our sleeves and get to work to make the country better. By the way, we did what we did because we were patriotic Americans. I work for the DoD and our office has not had basic supplies in two years because all the money is going to the wars, and our staff has been cut in half, but our workload is up by a third, so to think we are in good shape now, is dreaming.

I did not criticize you in any way. You made a choice to stay home and make money, my family made a choice to defend the country. I am perfectly content working and supporting my family. You are making false statements about people asking for hand outs when in fact we are all ready willing and able to start working towards a better future for this nation. I am sorry you are concerned that the days of no civic responsibility and all personal gain are coming to an end, but some of us are country first, personal gain second! BTW, I did not tell you whether I had personal wealth or not, but you assumed you were superior in every way.

That anyone in their right mind would think that Barack Obama supports communism or terrorism is a slap in the face to all our troops out there fighting against the REAL enemies of the United States.
That Barack wants to do more for the middle class in this country means to you that he is a true "socialist" speaks to your lack of understanding of REAL socialism.
I've used the term "spread the wealth" many times in casual conversation throughout my lifetime. It is an analogy that many use to say, "help a brother out". Its is NOT meant to imply the notion of "redistribution of wealth" that many have spinned it to mean.
re: the original posters intention (which is to further spin Bidens remark), historically, presidents expect some sort of turmoil following a presidential election. SHould he have made that remark, no. But it is historically factual.
The differance between a Barack presidency and a John presidency is that Barack will face it with reason and thought, John will shoot first and ask questions later.
Regardless of who wins this election, rogue states will test the waters to see how far they can go.
Both Barack AND John are not tested on this level.

But why would Joe Biden just mention that Barack Obama will be tested? Joe Biden did NOT mention John McCain.
