Good grief, I can't believe how many of you guys are over-interpreting a story that many police departments are preparing for possible riots after the election.

That's called being prepared, folks. Police departments beef up their forces before New Years Eve and before parades and before dignitaries visit. Just because they want to be prepared for a possibility doesn't mean it's going to happen.

Maybe you're joking? I can't tell, but the threads seem a little too hyper-excited. So before we turn it into a self-fulfilling prophecy, I'm taking a stand. Here's my prediction: Women will not riot. Old folks will not riot. Racists will not riot. Blacks will not riot. Nobody is going to be rioting. People will write angry posts on the internet and call up talk radio shows and that's about it.

Salivating over who's gonna riot is unhealthy. Sorry, but I think people are getting overheated. Everyone needs to get a grip.

Normally I agree, but not when it comes to rioting. You get people too excited about the idea.. and then before you know it they're disappointed that there isn't a riot and they go out and start one.
