Personally, I'll be glad when all the election signs come down. I hate them. I hate bumper stickers, too. I don't really think they sway any voters and they cause neighbors to fight with each other. Lawn signs are the worst--they tempt teenagers into vandalism, and most of all they're ugly!
Best post on the subject. I would never post a yard sign or a bumper sticker. Why look for trouble, they sure don't change anyone's mind.
The only place I argue politics is in here, and when I get Pi$$ed enough at the idiots, I just flip a switch.....
It is a non-partisan sign, it shows you two men, one of which it seems will end up making you angry, which one depends on which side of the red/blue divide you happen to find your self living on.
If it was truly nonpartisan, both men would be presented in an equal light. On that sign, they aren't.

It is funny that you get upset about how Obama is drawn, but have no trouble with McCain being in uniform and having the word warmonger thrown around.
Show me where I've thrown the term "warmonger" around.

Somewhere along the line this country has forgotten that we are electing our leader, not cheering for a football team!
And we should be be examining the facts about them, not trying to reinforce inaccurate perceptions.
If you really want to get into looks I can bring up Obama's witch mole and huge purple lips.
Wow, that's only the second time I've heard about purple lips and my sister was the first to mention it. Yes, it's a shame how people are so concentrated on the looks of McCain and Palin but like you said, there is plenty we could say as well. Don't forget about the ears.
I think it is a non-partisan sign. I see that picture of Obama when he visited Somalia (I think that's where the pic was taken) trying on the local clothing. I see both candidate's full names. (Sorry, they both got screwed on the middle names). I see McCain in his military digs.
So what?
I'm voting for the Democrat in the funny clothes with the unusual name. I'm open minded. I believe in learning about world cultures. I want peace. The picture of McCain just reminds me that he's really all about the military. I think its high time we had some good diplomacy.
If you are voting on stupid things like names and clothes, I think you need to look deeper. And if you're too dumb to do that, you're hopeless anyway.
Obama '08.
And if you put our military on the bottom of the list of importance, you're the hopeless one.
Why are you guys so obsessed about the gay stuff? Seems suspicious to me, like you're fighting something off. Anyway...Obama leaves that kinda thing to the PROS.
Ewwwww.......I wonder what Bush and the Saudi Prince do behind closed doors.
What a stupid sign . There is no reason to bash Barack Obama. That is just pathetic. If this guy wants to support John McCain, he should of just made a sign of McCain ONLY.
