"These people are going to try and shred her after the campaign to divert blame from themselves," a McCain insider said, referring to McCain's chief strategist, Steve Schmidt, and to Nicolle Wallace, a former Bush aide who has taken a lead role in Palin's campaign.

Hasslebeck may get some of the blame and lose her spot on the View...lol...

The smart folks are running now, the tidal wave to come will suck the rest out to sea, but not before a bitter, long, protracted mutiny.

Wow, that's really rich. The people who shred every aspect of Palin and her life here on a daily basis are scrutinizing what the GOP may or may not do? Heh.

Very amusing!

The GOP actively courted the dummies from the "religious right" and mainstreamed them into the American political process. Now they'll play hell trying to divest themselves from these morons. The fallout could take decades to settle.

Barry Goldwater warned them of exactly this problem about 20 years ago, but guys on the rise like Newt Gingrich were way too smart to listen to a grizzled old fool like him at that time. Now, those chickens are coming home to roost, baby.
